📋 Bookkeeper – Med Spa (Remote/Hybrid, Oregon-Based Preferred)

About the Role:A busy, multi-location med spa with strong year-over-year growth is seeking a meticulous and reliable Bookkeeper. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and understands the unique needs of high-revenue, service-based businesses.You’ll support the leadership team by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reporting, reconciling accounts, and working closely with our controller. Our ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, communicates clearly, and enjoys building processes that help a growing business scale sustainably.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable entries, reconciliations, and vendor payments.
• Reconcile daily sales and deposits from multiple platforms (MindBody, TouchMD, etc.).
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial reports for leadership review (P&L, Balance Sheet).
• Track and categorize expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Work with our external CPA and controller to support tax preparation and audits.
• Maintain detailed records for membership billing, retail inventory, and prepaid services.
• Identify and communicate variances, trends, and areas for optimization.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years bookkeeping experience (medical aesthetics, healthcare, or high-volume retail/service industry preferred).
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with POS/EMR systems (MindBody experience a plus).
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Bonus: Experience in multi-location businesses or high-ticket services.

Work Environment:

• Remote with occasional in-person meetings (preferred Oregon-based candidates, but open to others).
• Flexible hours (approximately 10–15 hours per week to start, potential to grow).

Compensation:

• Hourly, DOE. No benefits included at this time.
